To clean your bone inlay tray, simply wipe with a slightly damp cloth. After some time of owning your inlay piece, if you feel the shine has begun to dull, apply a small amount of coconut oil and polish it with a dry soft cloth in a circular motion. Bone inlay has a porous surface, so please do not use regular cleaning products (surface cleaners, glass cleaners), as they are too harsh. If your piece is under direct and constant sunlight, the bone inlay may have the potential to turn a slightly yellow tone over time. Avoiding exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat is advised. The wood and bone inlay both organically contract and expand, but not at the same pace. So during season/weather change, cracks can naturally appear.
